Emily Macinnes is a Scottish documentary photographer currently based in Glasgow.  In 2012 she gained a BA Honours in Photography from Nottingham Trent University and later studied Photojournalism at the Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX).

Emily has worked with various international NGO's documenting local and global issues as well as more intimate stories of struggles faced closer to home.

What unites her work is a common interest in people's stories and a desire to creatively communicate the individual and emotional aspect of the issues she documents.
